MadSkillz:

Forgotten Youth is super clean, very nice and a contemporary look and feel to it. The colors are very warm and inviting, and very easy on the eyes. That butterfly is just so nicely embedded into the site. Great job...I look forward to version 3.

Cheers!

Whaaaaaaaaaaaaa????????

First of all, I'm not quite sure what a buttfly is, nor do I want to know. But if you are referring to the butterfly, then may I be the first to say that that is one ignorant ass comment. Why do you have to be a girl to like butterflies? They're pretty insects. That doesnt mean I'm a girl, or gay, cause I said that. The butterfly is a nice logo, and that's what should matter.

Sexist bastard.

As far as the site goes, It's a nice simple clean site.. I don't see all the hooblah about it though.
For instance i'm not that impartial to the color of the site. Second, it's awfully narrow. I mean, frickin narrow. on a 1600x1200 res that site will be an inch wide.

That, and it's not 100% height.

The index page i think might as well extend 100% width too.

I dunno. It just seems plain at certain points. It's nice, but plain. Simple is good, yes, but it's kind of overdoing it. The butterfly is really the only eye candy around.

Well I don`t really care how it would look on a 1600x1200 because that isn`t used a lot at all. Very few people use that resolution and the ones that do that`s too bad for them.

...I use 1920x1440 at work... not sure how your site looks there ;)
Anyway, I think there are more and more people using 1600*1200 or higher...

This is bad design psychology.

As a designer, theoretically a good design will look good at all resolutions. Realistically, it can't be done. You should thus design for the widest audience possible.

Many people use 1600x1200 (say otherwise and I think our good friend fusiun will smack you upside the head), some use even higher. It's especially useful if working on things at high DPIs.

You can't just dismiss it because you think that "very few people use it", and "too bad for them" is not a very good dismissal comment... you should really take those comp users into consideration.

Well so far the majority by far in the screen resolution were 800x600 and 1024x768 for the people who vieved the site. I barely have any views with a higher resolution. I think I`ll do fine for now. With more experience the sites will change.
