New Design: Splash Page

Yeah, I think that looks better. Almost looks like The soft part almost looks like Microsoft though. Ooops! I didn't know they used that font...

ok Microsoft uses Arial Black : Italic : The letters are made closer by -101 : Then mask out the little nitch.

just one quick question, you used photoshop for the 3d text right??

i was just asking because you could have done it in a 3d program or you could have done it in photoshop either way. well anyways i love the splash :D

well...i have used xara. I personally thought that the prog was neat for what you could accomplish in such a short time. I also found that the inability to place lights with different colors and intensities made it difficult to make a complex 3d image look great. So i went to 3D Studio Max r3.1 ... all the way
3DSM does such a great job with 3D text. I luv it.

The outer glow took soooo long to make just right...i found myself changing it every couple of minutes then exporting it within the hour or so i had about 50 different glow images...


My cable is down :( im now on the backup dialup connection :confused: Now i have to wait until monday for my cable to be fixed.:rolleyes:

P.s. It is soo dificult to make text like that in photoshop...yes i know it can be done.

looks nice - I would try to add some more color to it.
