Hey everybody, just wondering what you thought of the new "coming soon" graphic on my website! Any comments? Thanks

its nice, i like the texture. but its even to big for a 1024 x 768 monitor. and aswell the coming soon is sort of out of place all the way in the corner. its fine that you made it that small and in that position but you should have atleast had some sort of change in the rest of your image. it just looks to empty.

when you say it's too big for a 1024x768 monitor, do you mean that you have to scroll horizontally?? I don't need to in my browser. weird.

thats exactly what i mean, though you can fix this easily by either cropping the image and taking off about 20 pixels from either side. or making your page non-scrollable so it wont look as though there is more

Mr Danforth, what browser are you using? Because I made the image 1004px wide, because the scroll bar is 20px wide. But maybe I was wrong.

I'm running 1280 x 1024, and I saw the end of your image. Nice texturing. I like the blue stuff. The text is very small and not very noticeable though. I didn't see it for a couple of seconds.

but it didn't make a big diff for me. but you have to think about what people in 800 x 600 and smaller are seeing

Yeah I know. I made it that big basically for my own satisfaction. When I make the actual web site I want to make it that big, but somehow disable horizontal scrolling, so 800x600 users will see basically the same thing as 1024x768 users. Anybody know how to do that?? Thanks.

Looks nice...but the actual size and the K size is a little big dont ya think? If people come to the site, see that your coming soon pic ALONE takes time to load, they'd probably not bother coming back. Make that mofo skinnier, and trim off the edges! As far as the image goes, the texture looks very cool, the colors are nice and I like the font, although displaced. Good work overall!
