If you love geocities but just hate the ads on it, check this out. An image that I've dubbed as a background fades in over it. It's pretty cool http://geocities.com/dumbnick/lopez.html

I don't see what's so special about that background. It doesn't hide the ads like you mention.

depends on the screen resolution. If you view it in 800x600 it hides it.

yeah it does work, cool nix. I had my comp at 1024x768, but yeah i figured the screen had to be resized.

Nevermind. Just closed the ad before the background loaded. For anyone insterestd, just put your content in a layer (div tag) and set the z-index to 1.
