shadow is okay.. still need some tweaking...

cup still need some highlights..

and its kind of floating out in nothingness..

Bizarre and surreal looking...cool...I think if you use the perspective transform with the background and match up the angles of the shadow with the angle of the pattern it would look SICK!!

And I just got hired too..........

I like it! .... very surreal, and "mysterious". Very cool. Only thing thats alittle weird is the shadow, I dont know..... It just doesnt go with the picture really. The cup is floating i guess and the really is no need for a shadow..... I dont know it just doesnt seem right to me. But its surreal, I guess thats what you wanted. Keep up the good work!

Xr650lvr is right. You should take part of the background and Transform it so its perspective matches the shadow. It will then no longer float.
