Howdy,
Some of you may know that I have a website called sparktasty, well, it's been totally redone, and it looks very different to any of my previous websites.

I'd appreciate it if you had a look and told me what you think. It's not meant to be an l337 site or whatever, it's just meant to be strange and nice.

It has loads of desktops to download to, so do it!

Even if it doesn't go down well with you all, I think nathalie will like it ;D

I'll assume that the reason there were 43 views and no replies is cuz the URL didn't work, so here's a *BUMP* and a URL that does work, please give me some feedback.

Note: PLEASE Update your orignal post. I almost left w/o replying because almost didn't bother seeing your next message. Might as well edit it so its right the first link they click

Meh wah gah. I supose 'continuity' isn't a word you like to use. A word of note. Having a boring webpage is bad. Having a webpage on drugs that can't make up its mind, is even worse.

1.Your splash page is useless. It Wastes everyones time. They are already starting to roll their eyes.

2. You have a unique style i supose, however you don't have a whole lot to tie it all TOGETHER. You have too many different styles on one page. 8 different font variations (including images, bolds, sizes, and colors)

3. When you go to a different page you are forced to deal with a totally new look and feel. Its just too much IMHO i never liked sites like that. You make up for lack of design with too many changes

4. Your navigation font is sorta, blah, but thats personal preferance. You don't have a way to get back to the homepage, and your LINKS secion is before your ABOUT ME section. (ack your giving people a chance to leave you page before they even learn about you)

Overall, you could do better. I would stick with ONE design, and maybe go with changing the headers if you want, but otherwise keep some sort of structor to your site. Atleast go with the same kind of design theme or colors for each page. hmm

I agree with DPQ. (welcome back btw, dpq)

You really should try to have one overall design... this way people won't be confused when they get on a new page.

shh i'm not really here *waves arms about, trying to play dream-music* someone just replied to an old post (1 year old) and it reminded me of this place. Thought i'd come back and slap a few people tonight.

Thats the keyword here: Confusion. People just looked at your page, they just got used to the design, now they, suposedly, want to read your content. and then you go and change everything on them. The style/look and feel/ colors of your webpage. Its called ****ing with your users mind, something you shouldn't do as a general rule in webpages. (unless it has a purpose, but we won't get into that)

Tell me its not worth it *blows a kiss* Sides your already in my PM box panting for a review. I'm the one getting used here hahaha.

Back to the subject at hand. Someone mentioned rollovers. I like Rollovers, they are nice, they are easy to do. They usually take up little space and, by god, they give some small amount of interaction to your website. I would say along with perhaps a different (thicker) font for your navigation...also decide on some sort of rollover effect as well. Even a color change would be nice.
