Somebody asked me how i did my sig and so i spend a whole 5 minutes doing a tutorial for it. Its not very pretty but you get the idea Shape made using the font Tattooz from http://www.acidfonts.com/dingbats6.htm

Tutotial:http://www.illminds.com/tut/

I also decided to go off and make a personal page. This is what i have so far:
http://www.illminds.com/dpqpage.jpg I'm changing the navbar font and yes, there is a good reason for having it twice on the page. The one on the top will appear when the ones on the side isn't there.

Two of the pages are two sites i already did, i'm going to add to me 'dpq network' so they will have their own links on the navbar, but people can still get back to the main page

What do you think?

Update:
I got a loosely working page. the only links that work are
"home" and "babble"

If you click the babble link you can see how i handled the sublinks.

Yes yes i know the lines don't line up right i'll fix that, promise

what dos Ctrl + Alt + Shift + T do?? Never used that...

One comment,

If I were you, I wouldn't use the tattooz font as you official logo. That font is all over the web so it's not really your own. Whu not just draw a cool tribal shape, scan it, and trave the lines in AI or PS. Now if some other site uses that font too and some bright people notice that its the same as you logo, but don't know about the font, it looks stolen and thats not a good thng for a webdesign buisiness.

Crtl-alt-shift-t redoes the "transform" action again. It also seems to duplicate the layer so i can rotate an image once and not have to duplicate, rotate, duplicate, rotatate. And since everything is on its own layer i can merge whatever layers i want and edit as i need.

I don't know the actual use of this command all i know is that is what it does when i do it *lol*

I'm not a design site, and the fonts are free for personal use, so i think i'm ok. If anyone here wants to draw me something in Illustrator(sp?) sure i'd take it. But for now i'll keep what i have. I'm not a designer, never want to be a designer, and certinally don't have a design company!!! LOL.

The shape itself is totally orignal, its not one of the letters in the font list. I hacked a couple letters together to do that. So while it might remind them of that font the fact that i don't use it anywhere but my logo might make them dismiss that. Besides if they know the font they know its not 'stolen' since its free.
