simple layout but the color is cool. I like the different hues of color too. keep walking man~ nice work.

For some reason it seemed to load really slow for me, it might be the server or some of the images on there, but might wanna look into that :P

As for the design of the site, I think its pretty simple, decient choice of colors, and a very interesting "topic" of the site..

Personally I would add some more stuff to it to make it not so simple, but if simple is what you were looking for then I think you accomplished that, Nice work :D
