I'll take a shot.

I don't think the colors are any problem. I like the combination.

Changes/Suggestions
*The bar with your nick isn't completly transparent at the end, there are still lines there. Get those gone.
*Possibly switch bar to the left side

That's it.

pretty cool, I agree with tsg to some degree.. I think the bar definately needs to fade to transparent, but I like it otherwise.

I think the plasma on the left should be more of a grey-like blue (in other words, desaturate it a little, so it matches the rest of the background).

The bar does fade all the way, but you need to set the gradient in a rectangle smaller than the width of the sig. Make it go about one-quarter of the way from the left.
