pank,

Nice work on the site.

Finished this up a few weeks back. It's a good example of vector mask use applied to illustration.

Keep up the good work.

Excellent work. You definitely got me interested in learning more about Vector Masks!! The flower is especially impressive. I love the way the light reflects off it and and makes it glow. I also like another site I saw on your site with the sunlight pouring out of the clouds. That's a really cool effect.

thanks for the good words...

don't we get to do fun stuff...

Torn,

Cloud Burst was a long time ago, 6,7 years.

If I remember right it was about an 80 meg flat RGB file (big and slow back then)

So that would work out to 4x5+ film res. Would make a big poster at least.
But because I was working towards film output back then I didn't think of it at print size my target then was a sharp 4x5 neg or trans.

Mobile,

Thanks for the welcome, very nice place you have here. I'll stop by and bring goodies when I find them ;)

btw: just started a hidden little forum to post some favorite tips/techniques for me buddies. There is some pretty rare info up there. If you come by and find something useful, leave me a note.
