Crictics, can ya critque this?

This is my second attempt on my wallpaper for my site, Layout: CODENAMED EX . What do you think it should improve on?

If that's a wallpaper, why does it look like a web site? I don't see why you have the biography and pictures and stuff on there. It looks like a navbar.

It is my site, im going to image map the bio pics and stuff, I shouldve said that it was the background but the nav bar is website stuff, what do you think?

Oh, ok so it's a site not a wallpaper. Well then I think it's kinda scary. Having her face so big and dark on the left there. Also you have a huge unused area at the top and left. And if someone comes along on a 640x480 resolution or WebTV, all they are going to see is that face, then they'll have to scroll horizontally to see the nav bar and the content. And I imagine you will have some visitors on WebTV or older computers visiting a site like that.

Ok, so do you think I should make the resoloution to something less than 640-480?

No, 800x600 is good, it's just that there is so much space on the top and left that doesn't really do anything. Maybe if you just moved the content area up a little, and put the face on the right side instead of the left, it would be better.

Dammit, i dont know how my nav bar should look, i want one of those futuristic looking ones, but i dont know how it should look like, does anyone have any ideas or sites that i might want to check out?

Looks pretty cool (damnit deker...) *sigh* yesh like my master aka deker said...(refer to his post for rest of my comment). Ok...I'm a perfectionist and the face isnt cropped exactly dead center. Fix it or I shall never visit your site! (how could I do that with...with...HER all over it :D ) But something like that bugs me...please slice that in half correctly, lol!
