First Site

Ok, I am not even sure if this should be going up for critique right now. But the basic jist of my story is that I suck at web design therefore have been to intimidated to do up a site for myself. But now I am in the thinking that I should go ahead and get some hosting and just pluck away at it. So here it is (free hosting right now, Im talking to my buddy about some good stuff this week), my first ever site. Let me know what the hecks going wrong.

As well, all the IFrames arent perfect yet. This is the basic idea, with javascript controlled windows popping up for the rest of the content.

Thanks Zyc, but I got myself a domain name already and a host. Hopefully you will all see it up by this weekend :D

Yeah, I think its a pretty good layout for your first one, but yeah oranjcrush is right, none of the pages show up on the main page, and all the links open in a popup window, which i dont really like :p

But other then that I think its a great start :D

Perhaps you are trying to over complicate things for your first attempt? The purpose of a website is to communicate information, but I'm not getting any at all!

I would prefer smaller text in your tag board. Use your link to look at tag's own board. Their colour scheme works well also.

But its looking well.

Ok, Im taking this down. People have gotten the wrong idea. There is no content yet, just a basic layout. Thanks for all the positive replies though. I have a host being setup this week, then I will post the actual site with content, and a proper tag board.

I think your idea with the picture is great! Keep it up.
You need to work a bit more on the content area to make it more interesting.
