All the dogs at the pound are not purebred... pure bred dogs are always sold. Normally there is a long waiting list of people wanting to buy the puppies. It's not like they get thrown in the street if no one buys them... Not when they are worth $600+ a piece. And not everyone wants a mutt.

you make it sound like mutts are bad? Purebred are incest freak dogs that have genetic problems, "mutts" have a larger genetic pool and they are less likely to have problems. These problems could be anything from hip to brain. Deker, he said in his opinion so ease up with your words, It really is to bad there are so many animals in the pound, I think you may have been brain washed by your client! ;)

I just re-read over the previous post and I miss interpeted what you were saying, I guess I feel a little better since you said that there is a waiting list for those and not they are just breeding them like crazy.

I'm not trying to be difficult, just having a conversation. I hate pretty much all animals anyway.... my wife is the dog fanatic. And this particular site is for a friend of hers. Anyway. As Bob Barker would say, have your pet spayed or neutered.
