Great design

The birds/girl and city background are very well done.

I do have to agree with colormonkey that the grayish background on the side looks a bit off.

i'm a big fan of all your work, but if you're looking for honest critique, i don't like this as much as other layouts i've seen.

i do really like the colors, and general layout... but i wonder what the point of having all that unused space up top next to the logo is? and why have angelina jolie on your website? she's hot and all, but it seems like it would be more appropriate for a fan site, as opposed to a design site.

but of course its still better than anything i could ever do, and better than 90% of the stuff out on the net. and i can't wait for you to put it up, so i can check out all your work in its entirety.

Very good work overall. There are a few details which poked me in the eyeball, so I'll share them. One was the curves on the profile of your banner area. See below:

Personally I'm curious how you'll implement the gradient on a tiling backgd... so don't get rid of it until after I see how.

Lastly, is that Angelina Jolie? I didn't recognize her. Of, course, if it was her, I'm sure you wouldn't post that image on your final version of your portfolio site for a media company. I mean, we wouldn't advertise to potential clients and competitors that copyright violations don't scare us... :: wink :: wink :: ;)
