Work on your button positions and scroller colors.

Uhm.. I don't like it at all..Sorry. :( But I'll tell you why:
1. The background tiles (I'm on 1152*870)
2. Don't use layers like that, slice it up, and build a table, the way you have it now, everything gets all fudged when I resize the window.. and layers aren't the most cross-browser-friendly thing..
3. Why is the content inside a puny little frame? Makes no sense.. a HUGE background with heavy graphics, without any purpose. The content should be the star, not the eyecandy that ppl see at the first glance, after that, it's just boring.

Some other things too;

The grid thingie in the background is boring and blurry, too much of the same there.
Tentacles are old, but it seems ppl still like them, so no problem there..lol. The logo, or title or whatever is very bevel-ish, and blurry too.
Well.. I do like the colors tho.. :D

Now these are just my opinions, so don't care too much.

paavo forgot to mention that your content font should be used for books, and for books only. It just looks odd when you try to go for that advanced modern tentacle look...

..and a hot peice of a$$ on the frontpage doesnt always make your site awsome =P

I agree with pretty much all of the above posts... i would just scrap this one and start over or go through the long lists of changes that paavo/NL said, then it might look pretty good...

Keep working at it though :D
