How is the nav more friendly to 56k users? And how is horizontal scrolling friendly to 800 x 600 users? I don't get it.

I don't know about you but I hate that scroll bar being at the bottom of the page, I would much rather have one horizontal scroll bar rather than two of them clogging up the sides of the browser window.. I think it's an INCREDIBLY sexy site.. I *LOVE* all the flash things.. awesome work dude.. As far as being friendly to 56k, it tells you the size of the site, so they can be ready to wait a few minutes or so if it's large.

If the 56k friendliness is just telling them how big the wait is, then just have a little pop-up when you move your mouse over the nav saying how big it is. Then they can click and it will load. Don't have to move your mouse all over the place clicking different links that way.

good point deker, but I hate pop ups and don't mind to click.

I think this is a better solution... just have an option on there somewhere for the highbandwidth people... so all the things will load normally.

I don't mean a pop-up like a pop-up add... I mean like one of those cool things where a little dialog bubble pops up beside your cursor or whatever.

I hate 'em all!!! it's almost as evil as flash!!!!
