I do like the checks behind the lettering, but the dark blue contrasts too much with the white... it would give me a head ache looking at it for too long. I'm much fonder of more pallettable backdrops.

I give it an 8.5/10. Something about the image catches my eye...the blue is a nice shade and I like that swirlish drop shadow. The "e" logo looks cool! Not to mention Im skater myself :D Did you render the skateboard yourself?

Marvelous subject matter. ;)

The blue is a bit striking... is there any way to tone it down a bit and repost?

Did you create those trucks ("axles" for the skateboard challenged) from scratch yourself in a 3D editor? If so, nice work.

I like it but it's too bright for me so far.
