Hey, I was wondering if I could get some feedback on this new layout. All comments and criticism are welcome. Thanks! http://www.acllc.com/new/home_demo.html |

not much to comment on. It is a simple site, but other than that, not much.

yeah i think hoodlem and ruud said about the same thing that i was going to say, it is really simple, sometimes simple is good, but in this case i think its a bit too simple.... just my 2 cents :D

One thing I personally think that throws a lot of sites off is a lack of contrast. An effective design for anything must include a good portion of contrast, even if it is just a thin black line on a white bkg. I would make a thin black line run accros the bottom of the main banner at the top. Next, I would make the second white space down the same height as the first white space dow. If that makes any sense. Maybe even take both of the white spaces and make em about 3 pxls high. I dunno. try it out, see how it looks! But yea, what ya got going on is heavines at the very top left in the A and the text, then nothing to balance it out:D Maybe I'm just picky:rolleyes: |
