Very Nice Chris....as always! The second one is so very Zen. Both are great. I wish I could use charcoal, I use pencil, never could figure charcoal out......except how to make finger prints all over my artwork!LOL Later, Justin |

I absolutely f*cking love those! The only thing I would say is there is certainly room on them for more detail - and intense work - you know really getting in and attacking it! - the compositions and design - great! Have you ever seen the woodcuts made by Blake? Sorry, Im new to this forum and dont know if all this has been discussed already |

Thanks guys! Grass, a hint.... babypowder on your hands helps the charcoal not get them AS dirty. Mostly I just use the charcoal for shadows and shading. The majority of my stuff is pencil. Also there are several different consistencies of charcoal, get a dense one. *more detail* WELLLLLLL, thats is something I DO NOT excel at. I do a really good job on backgrounds (sky, clouds, trees, bushes, rocks, etc.) but when it comes to really detailed work I just can't ever come up with anything I like. I posted a while back a partial piece I've been working on for over a month (a dragon) but I still can't get anything I really like. (other than the dragon's head and wings...oh and the background. ) |

Nice! Looks like something from the Diablo2 manuals! You have some guts posting your personal artwork...for some reason or other I was kinda afraid of getting bad replies on my sketches...but no complaints here! Nice!!!
