looking for input on new layout

I was just messing about and did this, and now i'm wondering if it's better than the old one! It's a CV (not sure if you call it like that in english):

do you people have a horizontal scroll on the webdesign page of the second layout? cause, I don't (under opera and ie6), but someone told me on another board about it! something like 3 or 4 px to much!?

I notice a bit of breakup in the tables using Mozilla. Didnt see any scrolling though. Personally I liek them both. Y ou have very nice designs, so either would work. I would maybe add a hint of more color to the brownish one. something to accentuate it out a bit, but that is my personal opinion.
I like the simplicity of both.

No I have changed my mind, the whitone is better, the other one is kind of boring. You must kind of concentrat to see good in the 2 version. Keep the white one dude.

ok thanks a lot for the input and nice words! The opinions are around 50/50 (on 2 boards), so I think I'm going to have to make up my mind on my own :D, or maybe make a 2 entry splash screen

I like the "old" layout better. looks more fresh and stuff....
