Cat (a Photo Manipulation)

Well i didn't actually have a plan in mind when i started this image so i guess it turned out ok. Sort of growing on me.

I started out with this image http://www.activemadness.com/misc/misc02.jpg which i created basically with this tutorial http://stridingstudio.com/tutorials/exclusivetech.html I than took this image http://www.illminds.com/camera/ugly02.jpg (A picture of my cat "ugly") and sort of did misc photomanipulation techniques on it, but i think most of it was just changing the layer mode on random layers. Don't know why i gave her a beard but it looked more evil that way soooo...

I really like that, looks very evil . but it seems like the wave-thingy (for lack of a better word) looks a bit off w/ the rest of the picture.

I like it DPQ, I wish the top of the cat layer blended better though. It has a little darkened area that detracts my attention, but i still like it

Yah i know what you mean, i might try to give it more shape or add something tot he picture to make it all fit together. It sorta reminds me of flames, thats why i ment w/ the colors to get a "dark" look.

Maybe if i tweak them a bit and deleted the ones a little bit on the bottem of the face it will have a better form rather than just me slapong two pictures together, which is really just what i did but still

As for the dark parts i'm assuming you mean like around the nose"? Well the cat has black in those areas which is why it turned out the way it did. I might redo it or try to give it more form. Make the shape in general more cat-head shaped
