Im working on a new layout for my site... http://www20.brinkster.com/delisk/layout2.jpg A new improved version... (smaller menu) http://www20.brinkster.com/delisk/layout3.jpg I plan to design it to be nice on 800 by 600... The light brown aera will be highter as the page goes down (the image is on the top is not a background... The first button show the over state, the other the normal one... give me your impression on this one... |

i'm sure that's exactly the sort of feedback (s)he was looking for. i guess the site has potential, i don't really care for how u put in the content area. I think the buttons are too big, and it's pretty simple and basic. |

To me it looks kinda you know, the color management has to be changed, you have potential to do better, try playing more with the colors....good luck..

Well i think it looks pretty good but there is definately some room for impovement... like everyone else said... but here are my suggestions... 1. I like layout 3 better.. the smaller menu makes the site looks cleaner and more "professional"... 2. I would make the conent are alot bigger.. it will look out of place when the site is all compelete.. and the browser is maximized... 3. maybe work on combining the blurred picture with the conent area somehow... or make the content area seperated from the picture with a trendy/pixel border or something... maybe some angled lines... Just my 2 cents... but its a good start :D |
