New Personal Homepage, Opinions?

http://chriswoj.l33t.ca/ is my new homepage, or at least a new design for the one I closed back in February. I know the top logo is subpar, but I can't think of anything better, any suggestions?

Any suggestions anywhere else?

I made it last night in Photoshop, its the first layout I've ever made in Photoshop. I usually just make designs image-by-image in Paint Shop Pro, this is my first with PS.

Any opinions? Any suggestions? Anything period?

Well it looks pretty good for being your first layout done in PS... my only suggestion would be to work on the text in the navigation/interface on the side... some of them art hard to read becuase of the meesed up edges effect on the text... other then that it looks pretty good for your first try... nice job...

Unfortunately... l33t.ca has gone down. Its an increasingly rare thing as they are becoming more and more stable by the month, I'll post again in reply here when it comes back up. Ticks me off though.

Urgh, this is horrible. I heard somebody did something involving Gnutella's http caches or something like that that sent it into a mess and something got screwed up... I have no clue whats going on, I hope its up soon.

The site is now up, the server's ISP had problems which sent them down. That sucked, but at least they haven't had any downtime themselves in about a month. So anyway... OPINIONS?????

Well.....I'm not too fond of the result......Seems like there should be something there wich I cannot point my finger on. Maybe not white in the back of the menutext? Make it more "visible"....

Hey now'ts up. I agree with fusion. It's a darn good 1:st try. But the text in the nav/interface needs to be delt with. It is both hard to read some of the text and it needs more contrast to the gray, I think. One other thing I would consider is if the text should be presented in some kind of scrollable box instead of just text disapearing down there...
