My own site (RDJ Designs)

hey guys, i finnanly made my own personal site. it still needs content but everything else is there!

well i made a splash (that sucks) and the main layout, vieuw it here:

Woa dude that site is tiny. you need to make it a lot bigger and add some graphics other than just grids and such. Don't do popup windows unless absoulutely neccesary. Make it much bigger than thaat.

Hokay dohkay~ Oi, this is going to be alot of work, I hope you save the .psd.

I like how you attempted to make it pseudo-3d for the splash, however, it seems to lack something, maybe text or other things.

The main site itself is too small. I know how you wanted it to look like but at this stage it looks bad. The bevel on top of each area is ugly as well.

Once you get the content up and running, maybe we can see how it's supposed to look like when it's functioning, instead of the default font telling us what goes where.

Ill add to that its really really too dark. It looks like a satanic site or something with black and dark red. Try lighting it up.

well no offence but you said that you made an ugly splash... uhhh, doesn't the actual site look like the splash?

and it really lacks something, it is empty. Please add stuff, colors, text. Whatever. I think orange would go great with it.

Well i dont like it for a few reasons....

1. it opens in a popup window... i hate popup window designs... they are noobish to me... mostly cause they are really easy to make....

2. you need to do something with the scroll bars, make them so that they dont stick out so much... etc...

3. get rid of the horizontal scrolling....

Other then that it looks decent... im not trying to sound harsh or anything i just dont really like popup designs... just my opinion though... :D

And I was going to add something here, but since yer remaking the whole thing....I won't. I probably wasn't going to add anything important anyway... :D
