which one is better?

myself i prefer the first, any suggestions on the design of either of these? do you think they are professional looking? the old site is still published at http://www.gsc.bc.ca
i dont really like that one, i didnt make it just so you know.

#2, much cleaner, and doesnt have a distracting pic for the content box background

I'd go for #1 maybe.......Or #2.....Hmmm. I can't decide...... :(

Really they are both really good, clean, simple layouts.... but i would use #1, mostly because it looks like more time was up into it... with all of the menus and whatnot... nice work...

Try mixing the two. I like 1 better though. Softer feeling :D

I like em' both.. but its hard to choose, but I think I'd go for 1 :D

1 more prof, more soft. but do change the background in that box, maybe make it more transparant
