Kpt

In the tutorials of the site, you mention that you neede KPT5.1 to do one of the tutorials. Well I got the KPT7 from my uncle and I do not have the right filter. They say that I the filter shapeshifter, but I do not in the KPT7. Is there a way that someone could give me the "shapeshifter" filter. Or at least tell me were I could get it for KPT7. Thx

You'll have to buy a copy of KPT 5. Each version is not really an upgrade of the previous version, it's more like a completely different set of filters, and as far as I know they are not interchangeable. So search on www.ebay.com or something and see if you can find an older version of KPT for sale.

Does anyone know if "shapeshifter" is in the KPT5, just really want to make sure, I do not feel like buying the wrong thing

If that is what the tutorial says you need, then it will be there.

eh so KPT is like that eyecandy stuff?
i thought it was a completely different sort of graphics prog...
and is the $150 for KPT 5.0 on Amazon a good price and should i get the newest or is it not necessarily the best?

Well after all, while talkig to my friend, I figured out that he had it, the KPT5. But in the tutorial that was on the site, they say to have the upgrade of 5 to 5.01. Is that something you upgrade by the net, or is that something you buy?

I'm pretty sure you can get that small update off of the 'net. Try www.corel.com

Amen, it is a filter for photoshop. 5 does not have the same filters as 7. You would have to buy both versions to have "all of them"

The upgrade is free. You have to be a registered legal owner because they have to email you a new serial # when you upgrade to 5.01...

By the way. KPT 5 is still my fav out of all of them. So I'd say it's well worth the money ;)
