Alright, i'm buying a barebones system and I'm going to keep the 2 hardrives i currently have. I'm planning on re-formatting the one i'm going to put windows on, if i do this the registry will be screwed for the programs on the other hardrive right? Right now i'm thinking i'm going to try to use RegCleaner to create a backup of the reg files i want to have on, then make a copy of that backup file and when i reinstall windows after the reformat, try and have regcleaner bring back that backup file, makes sense right? Anyone know of an easier way? or maybe this way won't work... I really don't want to have to reinstall everything on that second drive if i can avoid it. |
