Help with Turning a Video?

Hi,
I've got a video that I made on my camera - I filmed it vertically so the width is shorter than the height. The only problem is, when I play it, it's on its side - the width is longer than the height, so the person is sideways. Does anyone know how I can turn it so it plays upright in the video player?
