I think you mean 80GB? ;) I have 750GB in my computer, and 250GB external storage. And 250GB in my old xbox, 40GB image tank for when I'm shooting in the field. |

750 ... That's huge ... I have 120 I think, but I work on a laptop. As for recommeding a brand, as long as it is a good name... seagate etc... (I can't remember the others) you should be ok. There are many other factors too, disk speed rpm, SCSI, SATA etc... So hard to recommend a specific disk. |

I have about a terabyte spread across 4 drives in my Mac Pro and an external. Any Seagate or Western Digital drive should be decent. Not really any point in recommending specific models. Just get whatever is on sale at dealnews.com or newegg.com. |

Like Derek said, just get one of the main brands and you should be set. Yeah I have 120 GB in my laptop too... But all these photos and back up strategies cost a lot of disk space on my main system. Storage is really cheap nowadays though... |

What do you mean? Cost-wise? I have no clue, depends a lot on where you buy your stuff. I don't think you are from Holland or the US, so I would recommend to check out local advertisements. 250GB is cheap though, around 80 dollars probably. |

as most graphics software and multimedia files are getting much bigger in size; and we are using the gigabit (1000M) lan linkage for local files transfer from one divsion to another inside the company. |
