Can someone please tell me a good (and maybe free) popup blocker? My computer gets them all the time and the wife is cutting me a new one about it.

you can download the google toolbar for free, and it has a popup blocker on it that works pretty good.

That's what I use. Google Toolbar. Pretty handy.

or the www.a9.com toolbar. Or you could use a decent browser like Firefox or Opera that has one built-in.
