Get a Radeon 9000 Pro. It's about $75 US. Don't bother with the 5200. For something a bit cheaper maybe try a Radeon 8500 LE, but they're discontinued so hard to find. Also what's your budget? It'll help us help you. |

Hmm... I agree, the 8500le is actually probably better than the 9000 and the 9200. But hard to find. Here's my 2 cents tho. If you could stand to save up just a wittle bit longer , I reccomend the 9600 pro. Much more future proof, and amazing gaming. ATI Radeon 9600 Pro 128MB DDR $248 OR, if you could find one (There discontinued now, but a few places still got em) The 9500 pro is actually better, becuase it has 8 texture (or was it rendering, or both) pipelines where as the 9600 pro only has 4. |

Yeh, I suppose a 9600 is fine. But if you don't play games, then why bother?

Malevolent... if you don't play games then he could stick with the card he has. And the 9600 pro is more than just fine. w00t

Then go for anything above a Radeon 9000. You can probably find a geforce4 ti4200 for pretty cheap. I don't know about this stuff in Canada... but hey, ATI is Canadian... they must have some retailers there. |
