That would be like someone stealing a car, but putting a sign in the back window saying, "I didn't buy this car, but if you know who did, be sure to let me know!"

he doesnt actually give credit, but its just like doing a research paper and having a works cited page. you are compiling other peoples works into your own collection and giving credit where credit was due. if he actually had given credit for the tutorials as he said he does on the front page then i wouldnt see the difference.

Oh, I couldn't see it before because it's not sitting on port 80, and the firewall blocks anything NOT on port 80.

Hello everyone,

it seem's like I'm not really a beloved person here. I'm in doubt. When I read this thread, I felt really ashamed for taking the tutorials without permission. I really did, and I was really planning to take the site offline, and keep all the tutorials to myself, and give it to nobody. But the thing is, I hear a lot of positive (and lately, a lot of negative ofcourse) reactions.

In a few months, 554 people have clicked on the aquabutton tutorial. You can see this by going here:
http://62.166.32.154/servlet/Query0

The reason why I put this site up, is because I have a lot of trouble finding the right tutorial, and even worse: sometimes they just disappear, and cannot be found again. I want to prevent this by making a backup of these tutorials by putting them on my site, and if I know where I found it, I make a link to the site on which I found it.

I don't want to compare my site to something like archive.org, but for me, it is.

If you want to have it offline, send me an email (e_pragt@hotmail.com). 3 emails, and site is down.

So just let me know.

Erik

PS, sorry bob, and others, that I didn't ask for permission first!
