Ripped

My companys domain has been riped what would any one advise in this?

as for domains, there's nothing you can do.
domains are sold as first come first serve basis...

so if someone has bought the domain before you, then you'll have to find another one or buy from that person at a price, much higher than US$35....

there's isn't anything much anyone here can do... unless you're a big corporation like yahoo and settle this in court

If your company has already trademarked their company name, you have legal precedence to take somebody to court and get the domain name, if not, there isn't much you can do other than to buy the domain back from the person who has it, or choose a different, but similar .com name.

You can also start the trademark procedure now if the company hasn't already done that, and once you gain the trademark, THEN you can forcefully take the site's name, but only then, I believe. It all depends on how far your company has gone, or will go, to secure its name in the US trademark office.

So if the domain for example our domain is
www.spacexdesigns.com

and the ripped is
www.spacexdesign.com


We are a registered business here in the USA

as for this.. maybe you can't do anything...

ur name is design"s"
where else the other is design..

my domain is side-fx.net
there's another domain sidefx.com

they sell software and i have a personal site..

unless your name is trademarked, you can't do anthing other than buy that domain from him
