might i suggest a book by stephen hawking: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/055380202X/qid=1021180578/sr=1-1/ref=sr_1_1/002-7145162-0944001 Universe in a nutshell... that should solve your troubles ![]() also see: The One (starring Jet Li) kinda weird...but it has alternate universe type things ![]() i'd have to say stephen hawking would be more reliable than "The One" but up to you. |

actually...this just popped into my head after reading some of that thread you posted earlier. you see the movie is called "back to the future" now the idiot that wrote the original screen play must've known that he could rack millions off of a repeatative plot due to the theory "history repeats itself" so...he names it 'back to the future' thus he sends the doc and the bunch to the 'past' and they go BACK to the future...BUT since the movie that they go to 'the future' is still called 'back to the future' you can conclude that's the time period that they orignally came from. |

I dont know if this has been covered. So, I will just try to explain. To understand why it would be that way, you have to understand time itself. Time is basically a thread. Events in the past determine events in the future. So, by saying that because I did one thing I will do another is entirely feasable. Not that I cannot changes the future, but it has been pre-determined because of my past actions. One maynot be able to fortell the future, but you can "predict" it based on past events. So, because "Marty" got into a car accident that hadn't happened yet, he became a failure. Because of his actions with his mother in 1955, he influenced the future. Just by kicking Biff's ass. |
