Corel? Adobe? Other?

I rate the Gimp 2 thumbs down.

why?

i thought the gimp was free, and made for Linux or Unix or whatever -ix. Why would someone who has photoshop download a free photohsop emulator? Seems silly to me.

am I mistaken?

Why would Colorado beat L.A., then just roll over when they play San Jose? I'm dissappointed, I thought this was going to come down to some awesome Wings v. Av's smak-o-rama... but now I'm not sure the Av's are really interested in playing.

dually noted. The Blues will put up a fight if:
1)Tkachuk decides to participate in this yr.s playoffs. and
2)Johnson plays tough in net. or Brathwaite, but either will work.
3)Officiating isn't as slanted as it was in the Vancouver series.

The Avs have only played one (1) game with a full roster this season. That was monday night in L.A. - That's my only clue. San Jose has been tough all year, though, the Avs tied them in points, but had one more win to earn 2nd spot in the West. I wasn't too surprised. But my money is still on the Avs. They come back tough as nails after Roy has an off game. Plus, Blake won't be out for long...

I don't particularly care about hockey. Anybody here use Coffin guitar cases?

Yeah, I'm with ya--I figgered they were prolly mentally tired after L.A. also. Kinda like Bowman resting too much down the stretch before Vancouver.

CorelDraw is a great program. It doesn't give me any problems and I except about 8 disk a week from outside clients. The .cdr travels very well.

Photopaint... well... I don't care for it... BECAUSE I use photoshop.

.cdr travels better than an .eps or a .psd though?

naaah I don't buy that one. Especially when you consider most .cdr designers use a PC, most prepresses and newspapers and magazines use mac. I bet you deal with lots and lots of font & platform issues, too, am I right? I might be wrong.

and you're right about Photopaint. don't care for it either... yuck.
