abhi1 Member since: Jan 19th 2002 Posts: 159	hi marble About me i have learn all the software which i am currently using through myself only............ i open that software and start exploring................. this is how i learn photoshop,afx,deramweaver,corel and all the softwares which i am currently using. and about the designing Classes subject................. my own designing class batches is going on ............ and if you wants to take classes for the designing ............ try to teach them how use software for diffrent media........... like photoshop you can use that for media for print for web and so on............... k abhi

snakeyes Member since: Aug 31st 2002 Posts: 45	Wow, this topic kind of went off kilter, but thats cool. I got my B.F.A. in graphic design, and I highly recommend going to school. You should adjust your curriculum depending on what field your going into (web, print design), I went in primarily for print. And the core classes I took were Typography, Color Theory, Visual Communication Concepts, Electronic Print and Publishing, Graphic Visualization, Letterforms & Layout. However, 90% of all my web knowledge was self taught, after graduating, so I guess its a combination of both.
