any suggestions?

i'm probably going to order a Hitachi CM771. the reviews i have read are either really good or really bad. anyone familiar with this monitor?

SharkyExtreme.com had 19" monitor shoot out, and they said the ADI Microscan 6P was best. Best image quality, and only $480. I'm not sure if it's flat screen though.

Hi there,

I'm using a Samsung Syncmaster 900IFT 19". It's totally flat and I love it. I think they go for around $500 (not really sure).

Peace.

I've been really really pleased with it, I got it instead of a 21" conventional monitor... but for the same money I could get the CM771...I liked the idea of having the extra desktop space

I have 2 sony trinitron 21 inchers. Found em at a yardsale for 99 bucks a peice. The guy had no clue what kind of monitor they were. I'd say it worked out pretty well.

If it's not too late, I have a Mitusbishi Diamond Plus 91 and it's GORGEOUS, far better picture than the Sony I used to work on IMO. I got mine at buy.com for like $450 or so, highly recommended...
