1. Led Zeppelin - best band ever put together.
2. Stone Temple Pilots - yes, a tad commercial.... but great to drink to.
3. Garbage - shirley manson... need I say more?
4. Filter - a beautiful mix of metal & techno-punk driving music.
5. Voivod - a european cosmic/metal band w/ great artwork too!
6. Stryper (hah-hah! just kidding, folks)

Hmm, lately i have been getting into Enigma. That would be #1 for now. I also enjoy John Lee Hooker when im in the mood for blues. Um, three to go....

I've got Metal, Rock, Techno, and Country (I'm do a mix of EVERYTHING myself).

I'm a person who respects musical talent, I don't dislike a particular style of music because it's "uncool". I could give a flyin' fuck what everyone else thinks about my CD collection, because good music is good music, and I think someone that can create good music along with good lyrics is a true musical god---no matter what type of music they create.

*Note=people who dont' write their own music and/or lyrics blow ass. This includes: any teen-pop band.

Last year a temp worked for us and was a GB fanatic.
I respected her opinion and didn't slam him/her.... UNTIL she said that he was better/more poular than elvis!
She lost ALL credibility with me on that one.

And no - the chris gaines thing didn't work.
Probably the DUMBEST career move ever.

Country music doesn't get much respect from me in part because the lyrics are rediculously similar to each other (NO originality), the subject is the same, and it's more bubble gum pop than country nowdays anyways.

Proof that you can sell crap, as long as it has a green, dollar-shaped bow on it. Whether its popular, boy-band garbage or twanging puberty practice.
