ADSL and DSL, if there even is one.

ADSL means that the DSL is asymmetrical, meaning that the connection has a faster download speed than an upload speed. Whether it's true or not, I don't know, but thats the difference.

There are many 'flavors' of DSL, of which different companies offer one, more than one, all or whatnot.
