Hi all, Glad I found this site, I certainly need some help with my project. I am trying to create a photo with just one item colored and the rest of the picture B & W. I've tried so many things that I could think of but, to no avail. I am attempting to keep my sons coat the color it is and, the background and the rest of his clothes in the B & W. If anyone can give me some tips or pointers, I would truly appreciate it. Thanks, C :o) |

An easy way to do this is getting the "Polygonal Lasso Tool" and go around the coat you want to keep coloured. Then when you're done go in Select >> Inverse and you will have everything else selected. You can now desaturate the rest of the image by clicking on Image >> Adjustments >> Desaturate There are alot more ways to do this, but I think this one is the easiest. Hope that help. |
