HAH! HEY!! OLD? EVEN GRUMPIER?? SCREW YOU YOUNG LITTLE BASTIGES!!! :D

I was back in my old hometown for several days, then on Sunday 8 of us traveled to the Washington DC/Baltimore/Columbia area to see Wilco and The Roots (with Vernon Reid playing guitar!). The Roots were way better than I expected, but Wilco was extraordinary....they're my new favorite band to see live. It was the first of many of their shows I'll be going to, I'm sure.

Drank a bunch of George Dickel and Victory Storm Kings and Old Horizontals; ate tons of great food, but didn't get sleepy much at all...I was having too much fun visiting old friends and laying the groundwork for moving back there in about a year or so. In fact, it wasn't till I got back Monday afternoon that I finally got more than about 3 hours of sleep in a row since Friday.

(Oh, and mo0? Better work on your math, sonny. I'm a mere 46. :p )
