Blech, I know, another political thread, but I couldn't contain myself. I'm a "Google Guy" through and through, but this is disgusting:

http://money.cnn.com/2005/02/14/technology/google_democrats/

"A USA Today campaign finance analysis found that, of the company's overall political contributions, 98 percent went to Democrats, the biggest share among top tech donors."

Heh heh...

If google can't do it, who the hell can? Bill Gates? Not bloody likely. If you've got cash like him, there's no way in hell that you'd be a democrat.

Paul, let me give you 3 examples of very public RICH-ASS Kerry supports:

Warren Buffett - Net Worth: $42.9 billion
Donald Trump - Net Worth: $2.5 billion
George Soros - Net Worth: $6.9 billion (gave estimated $50 million alone to MoveOn.org

Do a little research here:

Quit with the f***ing sterotypes.

Alright, alright, I'll tone down the stereotypes. I was kidding too, for what it's worth.

What I said insinuated that people vote only for who will help their wallets. There are of course other issues. Furthermore, for the richest 1%, it's not like they're going to beocme paupers overnight. And I suppose even then, when you're that wealthy, such that issues like the state of social security are irrelevant, then issues like foreign policy, and human rights become of greater interest.

The rest of us though are affected by minute changes in the economy.

And that is what I was highlighting.
