Um, for some reason while I was reading this thread, there was this annoying fly-buzzing sound that kept repeating. During one of the buzzes, I closed this tab, and it stopped. I came back (now) obviously, and it's no longer here.

Or I've just gone all kinds of crazy.

Anyway, how long do you suppose it will be before they're putting these in cell phones?

Either way, I want one.

The question came on the heels of an earlier project which involved the design and construction of an astrocamera having a resolution of 0.01 millimeter across photographic plates that are 356 millimeters square. Recognizing this to be the equivalent of 1250-megapixel imagery prompted the question of whether or not anything comparable had been achieved in the context of landscape photography.

"equivalent"
