http://www.mozilla.org/ Grab it if you want. It has become my new favorite browser. Don't panic if you hit the "about" button and it still says 0.8.0 It is updated... They are waiting to change the version number officially when it is final. I did notice a + sign after the 0.8.0+ though. I don't recall seing that before. |

Yeah, i've been using firefox quite a bit lately, it's a really nice, fast browser. I think I still prefer Opera though. I'll give this new version a shot though :D |

I love 0.8...so I think I will stick with it for some time... until enough people have tried it and all the bugs are fixed in the new one... |

Been using it for a while now, except at work. Dumb Celeron computer!! The only "bug" I know of is that it blanks out when there's too many pictures loading on a single page. All you see is the browser window frame, but if you move your mouse around, it'll show out bit by bit. At least it still works unlike IE, it'll just crash.

My only beef with Firefox is that you cannot tab through flash links if there is more than 1 separate flash file on a page. If that is fixed in 0.9, I'll give it a try, otherwise I don't have a reason to upgrade. OK, I have one more beef. I cannot find the folder where the toolbar bookmarks are stored. I read through the entire documentation, but I didn't want to register for the forum just to ask. Grrrrrr. I wanted to copy my "Links" from IE to it, and really don't want to go back and manually add them all. |
