Cybling, watch the keynote here: http://stream.apple.akadns.net/ I'm very excited about iLife, and consider it to definitely be something really cool. Steve said they're announcing a ton of new products this year, and it's only the 6th day of the new year, so we have a lot of new products to go. I was pleased with this MacWorld just for iLife. By the time he was done talking about that, I forgot about the new iPods already. Steve has said G5 Powerbooks are quite a ways off, which I can understand since they are just now getting them into the Xserver and even then he made a point of how they added several fans to the front to cool the things. So I'm sure the Powerbook is going to be a very big challenge. Apple won't announce any other products during MacWorld, but like I said it's only the 6th, all those other cool things are on the way, I'm sure. |

I hate adbusters with a passion. They're so anti-everything I don't see how they can get along with themselves.

My opinions: 1) The mini iPods are WAY overpriced, I liked how the rumors said 2gb for 99 and 4 for 199, this is outrageous. And colors? rofl, that is one of the dumb things, they should at LEAST offer a white. 2) 15gb replacing the 10gb, very smart choice on apple's part. 3) This whole "iLife" thing or whatever, looks awesome. I need a mac to run it on. ![]() 4) What random said, adbusters is anti-everything. |

Well, yeah, iLife is really cool, but I want to see some really coolhardware, and the iPod Mini doesn't really cut it for me, I guess.

I'm soooooo dialed into Garage Band. Additionally, my brother and I bought my Mom a Yamaha DGX500 Digital Grand that has tons of voices and rhythm presets. I'll have access to that any time I want. Add my guitars, Mics, and my MIDI addressable controllers and processing gear, and I'll be poppin' new tunes up on my server in no time. Well, after I get up and over the brain infusion hump, anyway. |

so how would you get your guitar plugged into these amp features, then out through the mixer hooked up to the pa system?

Well Powerbooks have a Line-In and a Headphone jack, so you could just do it that way with a couple of adapters... And I'm sure most desktop models have something similar.
