yaay - Illustrator license

Just bought me Illustrator9. Thought I'd share my joy (and pain.. heheh It cost me a pretty penny.)

Lol yeah - I know - it's always cheaper to buy pirated stuff. I mean you can get here like- for 2$ per CD - everything you want.
I started out that way (I'm ashamed to say)...when I was a stupid kid - I filled my computer with every possible software I could get my hands on - I think I even had autocad.... never used it.
But I don't know...it's kinda like sex... before you actually get laid you tell everyone how "you had hundreds of women"... then when you finnaly do it... you walk around proud, give "veteran" advice...while acting casual....makes you feel good inside hihi. I remember when I bought my first copy of PS - it was 5.5 - they had a promotional thing - I got it for 350$. I visited customer support at adobe just because I could
and it's always nice to act superior... kinda like "hey - read the manual - it comes with your licensed CD... you know...the one in the shiny box..." which reminds me - I never got a box for PS - nor the manual - I got it as a legalization promotional thing and they only gave me the CDs and the licence paper in a cardboard envelope...no shiny box - no manual :(

have fun in the dela!!!! i really wish i could afford all my sofware legaly, i hate pirated sutuff. ut for someone just starting 1,000 for studio mx 2004 and another 800 bucks for photoshop or 14000 for STUDIO CS is a lot to dish out when you just starting.
i do belive if you can affor it then you should pay for it.

by the way anyone has mx 2004, I just got it and i thought it was gonna be a true CSS WYSIWUG editor but i dont see the ig change in the CSS department, you think im looking in the wrong place? does anyone here have MX 2004???

ya know, if an individual hates pirated software then said individual probably should restrain themself from using it.

people, its not difficult to get cheap legal software. use ebay, buy older versions, and be smart. i got an unopened copy of after effects for under $300. i got illustrator for like $150 because i had photoshop. i bought a student version of photoshop for like $250 when i was in school and then upgraded that for $150. lightwave 6 cost me $300. software isn't cheap, but its probably less than you spend on your car, your clothes, and definitely your education in the long run. and if you can't afford it then get a part-time job, mow lawns, do something. you may have to *gasp* sacrifice a bit to do it, but you can.

soory i do not agree but i guess thats ok because we all have the right to have their own personal opinions.

Regardless of your opinion, there is a strict rule that you do not mention warez here, and you blatantly admit to the fact that you use pirated software. Discussion of it here is not tolerated, plain and simple. Neither is leading someone else to do so.

And that's not opinion, thats FACT.

I don't have a car, but I think I'll go out and steal one tonight. Although, for those that can afford them, I suggest you do BUY your cars.

And on that note I think I'll nip this baby right about now ;)
