Guys, is it really worth getting Photoshop CS? I mean are there any new differences that will affect how your graphics come out? I hear this one has 16bits of color in the palette.

ok, maybe i'm in the minority, but nothing in that list particularly excites me. text on a path is nice, but with everything i do the backgrounds are created in photoshop and then the text is created in illustrator so i don't really have a need for it. sure, some of the other stuff sounds neat, but its not "i want to drop a couple hundred on the upgrade" neat. just my two cents...

sorry i got studio mx 2004 and the copy af the napp cs issue the special addon this month. I wish i had CS. ill get it when i get some money together. CS is supposed to have a lot of changes and advances a "revolution" as napp staes. I cant wait to se what people do with it as i am such a fan of great designers and their work. and PHOTOSHOP CREATIVE SUITE IS NOT A UPGRADE.

i hate to break this to you but great designers don't rely on the latest and greatest software to do their work. and having a national organization of users of a product tell you you have to get that product and its wonderful...heh, go figure ;)

so how do you figure its not an upgrade and why are you yelling about it?

I want Indesign CS really bad, and me thinks we will be getting it at work. Now that is a program where having the latest and greatest can be helpful.

not yelling,,but i with all the NEW wonderfull features i think is more that a upgrade, and just cause they sell an upgrade it dosent mean it has to to be a simple upgrade it can be a totally different engine and all so just cause they sell an upgrade dosent mean it cant be a totally different base. is just to give people that had bought a older verison a break.
