Does free web hosting, that allows remote (hot) linking exist?

Where might I find such a thing?

OR

Does anyone have any suggestions as to where I might find a good, reliable, CHEAP hosting service?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanx

some free hosting allows "hot link" usually refers to image link

http://www.fateback.com

and go check freehosting thread in the resource section

just found this looks pretty nice
http://www.ipowerweb.com/ $7.95 month, domain included, 300 pop e-mail, 500 MB space, blah blah

and this
http://smartconsumers.infinology.com/hs.htm
$6.85 month, 10 subdomains, 700 MB space, 700 pop e-mails, 5 MySQL Database, php, etc looks very nice

http://www.hotspotwebhosting.com/ Only $4.95 a month!

Virtual Domain (www.example.com)

Unmetered Disk Space
Unmetered Data Transfer
Unlimited POP3 Emails
Unlimited Mail Forwarding
Unlimited Auto Responders

Except they have more down time than other hosting company

Also you could just register for a domain for like $10 a year and find a free hosting company that host domain name :D

You can check this place out: http://www.doteasy.com

You buy the domain name and get free hosting without banners. The catch is you do have to receive the newsletter where they promote all their sponsors, this is why they dont' have banner ads. But it's only a newsletter, no big deal.

Hope this helps a bit.

Cheers!

haha... I was waiting for that. :p

Yeah, but cookie is right, just go to the resources section of these forums... there is a bunch of both free and paid hosts that everyone has put together. You should be able to find something in there that will meet your needs ;)

As for free webhosting, I myself have "fateback" and have had it for a cupla weeks, works great, actually....so far, hehe.

As for paid hosting, I havn't got a clue. Tho, I saw a thread yesterday in here about a host for $9/year...But I can't find it now, and I do not know how true it is...?

Me and a lot of other people here use www.insiderhosting.com

They have been really great so far. I usually get responses to my help desk tickets within an hour!

I have a reseller account with unlimited domains. I'm hosting about 70 sites on there right now. And I know about four other people from the forum that use them as well.

You can get the hosting here http://www.goresellers.com/ If you get the reseller plan means you can get the hosting at very cheap cost and also get the hosting, domain name register, domain appraisal, online file folder, ssl certificate etc...
