Still no power @ my house, but (sheite) they have power @ work. Almost nobody is here, so we're going to bug out in a little bit (no boss)....

Power's back on. Actually, it came back on at about 11 thursday night, but for some reason, my phone was out, and thus internet was down.

I've been thinking, they're blaming this whole thing on some problem in either upstate NY, or southern Canada, and I can't help but wonder, does upstate NY suck sooo bad that now it's affecting other states?

My answer: Yes it does.

Apparently its some sorta power grid thing.

They said it was was some failure in the northern Midwest and caused a chain reaction that ultimately downed the Niagra station. And of course, NYC is right on the farthest corner of the grid so it's vulnerable like hell, no extra support.

yeah it was some lines at ohio that failed, incredible burnable, and for the food answer, we had a full course deli...^_^
we did the best of it, the whole kitchen was open for free....
