free 300DPI stock anywhere ... ??

Hi All,

I realise that this may be a long shot ;) ... but are there any sites online that offer free stock at 300dpi ??

In particular i am after mining images ...

Dont know of any in particular, but sometimes if you type what you are looking for + high resolution images you can find all sorts of stuff on google. Now the copyright will vary depending on the source.

I would be suprised if such site exist...

Hi rez images take much more space than low rez (web) This would required a lot a space on a server and a really huge bandwich in order to allow download of such images... This mean than it would cost a fortune to provide free content!

If you seek this for a serious project then consider buying images form a tstock photo company... there a lot of them out there and you will find wath youy need... don't see this a waste of money see it a an investement...

Sorry for the stupid question(s)...but what's dpi, and how would I be able to tell what value a given image is at as far as dpi...?
